What leses can the camera use?
All the new breed of digital cameras, REdMX, Epic, Alexa, Sony F3, they all use the same lenses as 355m film cameras, these all pl mount cine lenses.
Lenses from Arri/Zeiss, Cooke, Angenieux and many
other manufacturers work excellently on these cameras.
Cooke /i technology is also available on the Red Epic camera so that information
from the lens can be passed to the camera and stored in footage as metadata. This can be very useful for fx work. |
