What is 4K?
4K is the term used to describe footage that has approximately
4000 vertical lines. The exact resolution is 4096 wide x 2304
high = 9.38 million pixels.
2K is 2048 wide
x 1152 in length = 2.36 mega pixels
High definition is 1920 wide x 1080 in length = 2.1 mega pixels
720P High definition is 1280 x 720 = 1 mega pixel
As you can see from the diagram
a 4K image is over 4 times bigger than HD 1080P
The full mysterium sensor is 4700 x 2450 pixels = 11.94 mega
pixels
The camera currently uses the excess as a look around to help
framing. |
